 Audio Journal Minimize

The Audio Journal Executive Briefing is a great monthly professional learning tool for the digital age and is ideal for busy educational leaders. Each month, nearly 200 MASA members receive a 90-minute CD filled with interviews, commentary, opinions, best practices and analysis from leading-edge thinkers in education, business and public policy. Since the briefing arrives in audio or digital format, subscribers can listen to it at their convenience anywhere they have a CD or MP3 player. Subscribers also have access to a wealth of additional resources at www.audioed.com.

If you have missed some CDs or if you have not found time to visit Audio Education online, it's not too late to access the resources (and there are plenty!). Just click on "Archives" in the menu once you've registered (free) for the site. Registration is easy, involving two steps:

  1. Register for access to the web content (including audio files for each month's interview) by simply choosing a login identity, and completing a short information sheet.
  2. Register to take the online quizzes. This is optional, but does allow you to track your participation for SB-CEUs (see below).

Are you earning SB-CEUs for Audio Journal?
Don't forget, MDE has approved up to 1.3 hours of State Board Continuing Education Units for Audio Journal participants. To qualify, just go to the Audio Education website and click on the evaluation for each month or click: http://www.audioed-online.com/newquiz/quiz.asp?quiz=26. Answer all five questions and your quiz will automatically be sent back to you and stored on the Audio Education database, for future reference. You can access your scores any time by calling Audio Education at 847.298.0511. After you do, you will receive a letter and a certificate detailing your participation for the 2008-09 year.
